And again, you're putting value on things which those that matter don't value. WVU's main selling points are, at best, average and its drawbacks are significant. Nobody would pick WVU as their #1 rival...not even Pitt. Thus they are a 2nd tier rival.

The only reason WVU is in the Big12 is because the Big12 was desperate and WVU was the best of the worst (and the Big12 are idiots). But the other Power 5 conferences aren't so desperate - and much smarter.
